ST. ZOE of ROME –
Zoe, unable to speak for six years, was miraculously healed by St. Sebastian when he made the sign of the cross overhead, and a following of Christianity began. Having lived during Emperor Diocletian’s persecution of Christians, she was arrested at the tomb of St. Peter the Apostle, who she looked up to. She was executed by being hung over a fire; St. Sebastian was executed soon after.
